Despite being under an injury cloud since Origin Game II, Panthers star Nathan Cleary will take his place having been cleared of a groin issue.
It’s unclear if Cleary will kick goals though. He didn’t for the Blues in Game II. Dylan Edwards would step up to the tee if Cleary doesn’t.
After being rested for the New Zealand trip, Penrith’s Origin quintet of Cleary, Edwards, Liam Martin, Isaah Yeo and Brian To’o are back on deck.
The Bulldogs maintained their top spot thanks to a bye last weekend but face a stiff test to keep it, with the second placed Raiders taking on the hot-and-cold Knights on Friday.
The high-flying Dogs welcome back a swath of Origin stars with prized mid-season recruit Lachlan Galvin to come off the bench.
