MATCH CENTRE: Storm vs Sea Eagles teams, scores, videos, updates
Joe Chan comes into the centres, with Grant Anderson shifting to the wing and Kane Bradley dropping out. Stefano Utoikamanu drops back to the bench with Tui Kamikamica starting in the front row.
Cameron Munster is a certain starter for his side’s Round 20 clash, but he is facing a logistical headache to feature for the Storm against the Roosters in Round 21 on Thursday night. Munster will attend his father’s funeral in Rockhampton the following day, meaning he will have to get on the first flight from Sydney Airport and change planes in Brisbane to attend according to Code Sports.
Meanwhile, Ryan Papenhuyzen has opened up on his nagging calf injury that has kept him out for three straight games.
“I’ve been dealing with a little bit of a calf strain, which is a little bit annoying,” Papenhuyzen told 2GB’s Wide World of Sports radio.
“But we are in a good position (for me) to be able to rest and get it right before the back end of the year.” Papenhuyzen admitted he would “probably” have to manage the injury for the rest of the year. “Like any injury or niggle, you have to manage (it),” Papenhuyzen said.
“I’m still managing knees and ankle (injuries) from years ago. You just have to make sure you are putting your attention in the right places with your rehab.
“It will be something that we will focus on to make sure it doesn’t flare up through the year. I can’t fault what we’ve been doing so far process wise.”
